Minasan, Konnichiwa!
I am an alumna of Birla College of Arts, Kalyan (Mumbai), where I secured 2nd Rank in HSC, and later graduated from Ruia College, Mumbai, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media (Advertising).
My journey with the Japanese language began soon after completing HSC. Right after my final results, I started my professional career as a Japanese Guest Relations Executive with prestigious 5-star hotel properties such as Holiday Inn and Grand Hyatt.
Since 2017, I have been teaching Japanese language at B.K. Birla College, Kalyan, training and guiding students towards success in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and other Japan Government examinations.
With over a decade of teaching experience, I have successfully completed four levels of the Japanese language and hold a Teacher Training Certification jointly recognized by the Ministry of Japan and the Ministry of India.
In 2024, I earned my Master of Arts (Japanese Language) from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, further strengthening my academic foundation in Japanese studies.
Apart from teaching, I also work as a Freelance Translator for the popular cartoon series “Ninja Hattori”, aired on Nickelodeon Channel, contributing to cross-cultural exchange through language and media.
My mission is to make Japanese learning accessible, engaging, and rewarding for all learners who wish to explore Japan’s rich culture and opportunities through its language.
